oil pressure questions, with amsoil filter setup?

alright fellas so i have my 94 cummins 12valve and shes broken down at the moment with a blown to little chunks tranny so i figured time to spruse up some things while shes down.

when i bought the truck it had amsoil in it and the dual filters that sit under the front bumper, i loved that because i like amsoil but due to my offroading and daily truck abuse and 280-k miles the filters have been dinged up and dented front being in the front. some time ago the lines that made it extend the dual filters to the bumper rubbed and blew on me so i took the setup off and have run mopar stock filters for about the last 10,000 miles, i have time now and i want to throw the amsoil filters back on but along the side of the truck under the rear bed......

SOO O my question is would it be ok to place the filters that far away and not worry about startup pressure or loss of too much pressure because im adding about 15ft of line????

also do u think the 10k miles of not running the same oil in it has done anything? i dont think so but never know

thanks for any help guys

Can't answer you questions but have seen the same set up installed with a bracket that attaches to the same bolts that hold down the pass side battery. Filters hang on the engine side of the battery.
Might be easier.

Howdy! I dont believe you will experience pressure drop, as much as loss of volume. I would run some -10 or even -12 hose and you should be fine. pushing all that oil through that much hose is going to be harder on the pump. If the filters are mounted down low, everything should stay full of oil. We used to run the oil tanks for our dry sump systems behind the driver in our roundy pounders, and ran -12 lines. Never had a problem.
Just my 2cents.

wow nice, yea one of my problems is i want to have the filters down by the frame under the cab so that make my oil lines about 6 ft long and i dont wana drop 15lbs of pressure i might hook up a gauge and see what the loss is and use some different lines and see what i can keep it at. very clean setup you have i like the twins : )
