Oil pressure gauge drop off
I own a 98.5 model 3500 (91,000 miles) with manual 5 spd. tranny.
In 75 degree plus weather after I've been running for a while and slow down say, for traffic or a stop light, I get temporary oil pressure gauge drop off which sounds the alarm. It comes back up to normal indication after a couple of seconds. It'll do this intermittently when running at lower RPM's.
I use Shell rotella 15w40 oil and change it every 3-4000 miles.
What's the recommended solution? Upgrade my sending unit?
