oil drain plug

i changed my oil this past weekend.this is what is left of my drain plug.i heard it crack when i put it back in.the truck has only 72000 miles.i had to run up to the dealer for a new one.i will be ordering a super plug from Genos before the next change.<br><br>mike

Ah that one looks better. Those drain plugs are crap anyway! I want to try the Geno plug.

My '96 did the samething, so I bought the Geno plug and end of problem. Also make sure you are using the correct torque of 40lbs. vs. the manual stated 60lbs.
