I need an oil dip stick for my 94 does anyone know of a place I can get one besides the dealer? There are no engines in local junk yards either.

Last Nov. I was coming across I-40, and after a long day at the wheel I stopped at a truck stop, checked my automatic trans fluid and left the trans dipstick sitting on the front bumper. About 40 miles away I remembered I'd done that, and I pulled over, but it was long gone. I think I paid about $10 for a good used auto trans dipstick. Somebody is almost always parting out a truck or a Cummins engine on ebay.

Yeah, keep checking. It didn't take long to locate a seller who had one. The seller I bought from had many, many Dodge Cummins parts on ebay. His seller name is redlinear right now he's parting out several Dodge/Cummins trucks, but they are later models than ours. I don't know if he's got a dipstick you could use, but if you click on the "ask question" you could ask him. He parts out a lot trucks on ebay.

 

I just checked his auctions. He has about 400 or so items from several Dodge Cummins trucks. I sent him a message and asked if he remembered me, and if he had an engine oil dipstick that would fit a '94. It would help if you could find out which other years the dipstick would fit.

 

He sent me a message that he had already sold the last one he had, but check back, as he parts out Dodge/Cummins trucks all the time.

Ha thats funny seeing his name on here. I've bought tons of Dodge Cummins stuff from him. Another guy Partsitout sells Dodge Cummins stuff too.

 

I was happy with the trans dipstick I got from him--price was fair, shipping was quick.
