nv4500 fluid

Yes thats the one. My bottled does not say anything about syncromesh, just synthetic manual transmission fluid, plus if you paid around $20-25 per bottle thats the right one, because the wrong ones are only around $12 . The first dealer I went to tried to sell me the cheaper one and said thats what they used in all their manual transmissions and did not know the diffrence. I went somewhere else and got the right one.

*I AM NOT AN AMSOIL DEALER*
I bought some oil off the net from a Amsoil dealer for less than $10 a quart for the NV4500. I can't remember the part # but if you look at one of the tons of web sites you should be able to find it

But when I went they offered me the "Synthetic Manual Transmission Fluid" for $22.00 a quart but I noticed it wasn't the part number that we put in our other swap. So I gave them the PN of the stuff we put in the swaps we did previously to mine it came up Syncromesh I think it was roughly $14 a quart.

I don't know what the labelling on the GM stuff is like, but the mopar stuff says its for the NV4500. Theres a dead giveaway. Mopar stuff was $25/litre, GM was $30. On the quad4x4.com site they give you the part numbers for the fluid at both dealers.

I put Amsoil Manual Trans and Transaxle Synthetic in my 3rd Gen NV4500 (according to Amsoil it's a direct replacement). I assume your NV4500's are the same as mine. Never had any problems and the trans shifts great.
