no throttle
A friend has a 12valve w/ppump in a gmc hooked to a th400 autotranny and it will only do 35 mph and run about 1500 rpm ant body have any suggestions what is wrong thanks in advance

Did he change anything in the p-pump? Fuel plate, governor springs, etc.
I would also double check the boost signal line to make sure it isn't plugs or kinked. If there is no boost signal to the pump, it won't give extra fuel.
