Exclamation No Start 12V

Hello. Did some searching and didnt really see the information I needed. First off.. truck has sat for about a month.. went out to start it and no start.. cranks but no fire. Pulled fuel filter to check for fuel and just changed it while I was there. afterward I used primer and the primer boot was leaking some fuel when depressed. Is my pump shot? btw the engine still didnt start. Thanks in advance.

Check it for rust, garbage. Mine pulled that in the middle of winter, cleaned and lubed, worked perfectly.

I would also ask to make sure this is bad.. When the key is in the start position.. it dont retract and wont start.. If i turn the key on and push it open it clicks and holds it open and it starts.. thanks in advance..

The solenoid is pretty bullet proof and is changed when there is nothing wrong with it often. Once you have removed and cleaned it up check the three wires to it for voltage. The items that fail much more often is the blue fused link from the drivers side battery and the 70 amp relay on the firewall. All these parts can be found at http://www.fostertruck.com/dodge/default.htm
There are numerous threads on this subject, do a search.

That is because they don't normally fail completely - do as GAmes has posted.

Superbird, it will not come up until the Starter is engaged, 2 separate circuits, a pull and a hold.

Bet either you have a gunked up solenoid or something on the pull circuit.
