going up hill i pushed the overdrive lock out button on the dash.on the way back down it would not go into overdrive.this problem has been going on for a while. before i would unhook the switch and plug it back it would work fine after. now it will not shift at all. could it be the switch is bad.

If disconnecting the switch cures it then it sounds to me like it's the problem.
Switch is about $33, dealer only.

Had the electrical and solenoid scanned all checked out okay.throttle position sensor was 38% at wot meaning i need a new tps.will get govenor pressures checked tomorrow.Hope this helps someone else
