No 4 Hi?
Hi All,
Just got this truck, 94 5 spd 4x4.
Went to try 4wd today to see if it works and when i put it in 4 high it starts chattering at me. Sounds like when you try to shift without the clutch and the gear doesn't go in.
However 2 hi and 4 lo work just fine. Thanks for all the input.

It's got to be just a simple adjustment of the linkage. My dad's old truck (97) used to do that and sometimes it would jump out of gear. It was under warranty, so he brought it to the dealer. The just adjusted it.
