need to up my idle !!!

Alright guys ,I have looked til my head hurts !!! I don't want to seem too dumb here, but I need to know how to bump up my idle to eliminate cold start lug . My truck idles about 500 cold and 750 warm . Seems way low to me cause it causes extra spool lag at take off ! Also would like a little more fuel - not much just a little to help with pulling my camper ! Thanks for some extra help cuz I know nothing about a cummins-my first one !

here is a really good write up for fuel mods. most of it can be done for free, however i recomend gauges before adding fuel.

here is a link that tells you how to adjust you idle.

Thanks for the information cmac ! I'm gonna get on this today and hopefully getr runnin a lil better . Cause the cld starts are drivin me crazy ! I have two solenoid switches on the frame next to the in-fender on the drivers side . I have no idea what they are for , but one has some broke switch wires , so i think theyare for the intake and fuel heaters , but i dunno ! Any ideas ?

Correction on that idle speed, it's about 350 cold and 600 warm . A little too low !

The Idle Should Be Around 750 To 800 If I Remember Right. I Turned The Idle Up On My Buddys Truck And It Fixed His Hard Start Issue

The Idle Is Real Easy To Adjust If You Have Another Person In The Truck Watching The Tach. It Takes Two 10mm Wrenches
