Question Need quick answer on trans seal

The beast is getting the clutch put in and there recommending a shaft seal? Its not leaking, truck has 72k on it. Are there problems with them leaking? If not I don't think I'm going to mess with it if aint broke. Thanks

I would replace it just cause you are in there anyway. Mine was just starting to seep at 170K miles.
