Need new clutch
My throwout bearing burned up, so with 181K miles and some damage to the pressure plate I will be putting in new cluth while it is out. I hope to be putting in a #11 plate in the future and occasionally will tow a heavy trailer of gravel up the hill to my house so I am thinking of getting the South Bend 13" upgrade kit (13125). But of course the extra money is scaring me.
Is there any place on the web that gives really good deals on these kits, or all they all pretty close in price?

For a Southbend, they all pretty close in price. I think getting one through the DTR store is about the cheapest your going to get one. What exactly are your plans for the truck, JUST a driver, not a play toy? If its just your tow rig/driver, get a nice single, they arent that pricey.

I bought a Southbend 13-1.25 Con O from the DTR store, and love it. No slip when I punch it, and real smooth engagement. Not a lot of difference in prices, and I loved the service I got from the guys at the DTR store.
