Talking My New Old 94 Dodge (Will Update as I work on it or have Questions)

My new old truck. Its a 1994 Dodge 2500. It is a 4x4 with a D60 in the front and a D80 in the rear. It has 455 gears and a 5 speed manual tranny with a granny gear.

My plans for it are going to be done in sections. 1st I'm going to do a single 5in exhaust to a single stack out of the bed and a cold air intake system. 2nd I'm going to add gauges to watch all the vitals and then turn up the pump. 3rd I'm going to do a 6in or 8in lift with either 35in tires or 37in tires (I haven't really decided how big I want to go yet). 4th is the body work and a paint job of some kind but I haven't decided if its going to be a nice one or just a spray can because it is a work truck/toy and it will be used as such. So guys what do y'all think?

Is a 94 a mechanical turn a screw you turn it up pump or a computer controlled you need a box to turn it up pump?

I think this truck has a factory lift on it, with what yall see what is the tallest tire I can run with this setup?

Is anyone still running a Stack? Is running a Stack or under the truck better?

Who makes a Single 5in Stack Full system?

Great truck, im still at work logged in on my phone so i cannot write alot, but you will have lots of help very shortly from us cummins fans. You are exactly where I was 2 years ago when I bought my 95' from my friend. Great rig, lots and lots of room for huge power and cheap easy upgrades. It looks stock height and it is mechanical pump thats super easy to tripple your power, but do it right!

Great truck! Mine has the stock suspension and I run 285/75 R16 with no issues. Good luck with the project!

Just a question here... have you gone down the lifted-truck route before? Just curious.

I'm sorry that its taken me so long to answer your Question but yes. My old truck was a 1990 Burb with a Cummins, 5 Speed, 8in Lift, and 40's. Loved that truck but I didn't love the road walk.

This time though I'm thinking Ill run 20" wheels witch will help with the road walk I'm hoping.
