Is my 47RH "upgraded"?
At a local diesel board, I posted up that I could powerbrake my truck and smoke the tires pretty good. Another member commented that I must have already built my transmission (its inthe works, but hasn't been done yet). He said he couldn't spin the tires with his stock trans at all.
My truck has had the trans gone through about 80k ago but I have no information on how it was built. The truck shifts good. I firmed up the shifts by adjusting the line pressure. It will throw you back int he seat if you're crowding the gas and it goes into lockup. It's got a 10 plate and a cranked starwheel with 4" exhaust.
What are the chances this thing has already had some goodies done to it? IS there any way to tell, other than BOMBing the **** out of the motor, then seeing how it holds?
I doubt it has a GOOD TC in it...at least i'm hoping since I already bought a BD TC. THe truck hesitates goign into Drive a bit, but seems to hold good...
take a chance and bomb the motor?
i had planned on putting in the TC and having the trans built at the same time in the next few weeks with a VB and some other things....
any suggestions?

you may have some valvebody reprogramming done but a stock trans will power brake. a built trans is always required with any significant mods, considering the stock trans wont hold the stock engine.
