to much voltage going to tps! please HELP
my tps has 5 volts on the purple, and 4.89 on the orange too? what is causing so much voltage on the orange? when i plug it up and go to wot it goes to 7.3 so that tells me the tps is working i just have to much voltage to start with.

You might be able to get a used PCM at a junkyard that is connected to the national computer system. I picked one up this way last summer for $125. You will need to remove your PCM to get the numbers off it.
The PCM is behind the air filter box on the firewall and is very easy to remove, just be careful to not bend any connector pins.
If you don't have any junkyard luck dealer wants $600 plus for one.
Before you go too far might want to verify your voltmeter is reading right, PCMs don't usually go bad. Good way to test it is the see if you get 1.5 volts out of a new flashlight battery.

does the pcm control anything else becouse everything is working right except my alt. charges on 9 half the time and 14 the other half. i did check the volt. on the tps when charging' and when not charging and it was still 4.96 to 4.98[the tps is not plugged up when i check volt.} will it hurt my trans with this much volts
