Maximum Fuel Economy, what setting???
I recently bought a 98 12 Valve with only 65K on it. (My previous truck was a Ford PSD) I decided to leave the darkside and buy a Dodge. I took it to a mechanic and they misdiagnosed a bad torque convertor. During his repair, he adjusted the star wheel for more performance. I don't need more performance, I want fuel economy. Where should the star wheel be adjusted to maximize economy? Thanks

there is a plug on top ogf the pump i think its an 8mm. take it off and you will be abel to see the starwheel take a flat head screw driver and turn the star wheel. The star wheel it looks like a gear almost anyway just put the tip of the screw driver on the teeth and turn it(towards the cab). Only go a few turns. Put the cap back on and take it for a spin see how you like it and how much smoke there is you can keep tuning like this till you see no smoke. But a little smoke is ok if you go to far the truck will be sluggish.
