Most people go from automatic to 5 speed. I believe this is the first i have heard of someone doing it the opposite way. The transmission you would use would be a 47re. You will need the throttle position sensor, transmission lines, transmission cooler, and i dont know what all else. Just a few things off the top of my head. I would go ahead, and put a good torque converter, and valve body in too if i were switching. You might find someone with an automatic that would swap you everything.

Much much easier just to find a good used automatic truck that you like and sell your current unit. Most people want the 5-spd. Do you not like yours? I'll bet someone here would buy it from you...

I justed wanted to do the swap so I could build the truck for 1/4 miles manual doesnt work so well with big turbos. selling the truck probably not hard to find 12v with quad cab.

I would swap you out everything, I have a fully built Goerend Brothers tranny minus billet input shafts.

Don't forget to swap computers also, as the computer tells the trans when to shift and lock up right?
