I know this isnt a fix most use on there 4x4s ,but i was considering it on my straight axle (not a 4x4) its a cab chassis and has a straight axle. Same front suspension as a 4x4 without the differential. How well do you think it would hold up on a non offroad non flexing truck?

Dont see why it wouldn't if you either kept oil in it or pulled the axles so the gears wouldn't turn. Make sure all your drag link locations are the same an all of that.

Dieseldude , he had a Cab chassis model 2WD truck , they have a solid front axle under them stock , it is the same housing as the 4x4 , but it is hollow inside.

I think a lukes link would hold up just fine on a CC model , and i think quite a few people here do use them under their 4x4's.

The one or two I have seen don't have the hogs head, just like a straight piece of pipe all the way across. Lukes should do just fine. Mine has been on for about four years and is still in good shape.
