Loud rattle on deceleration
Just got a new 94 in rough shape that has a slighty rough idle but it becomes more pronounced when you increase the throttle in neutral. It almost sounds like it is missing between 1000 to 2000 rpm. The pedal also has a very light feel to it very little pressure and it jumps out of idle quick. Anyway if you bring it up to 1500 and let off it has a hard rattle sound almost like my 05 common rail when you lay into it and let off quick. Any ideas

to determine clyinder with problem...
1. set rpm where skip can be heard.
2. crack injectors one at a time then re-tighten.
the injector that you crack where the skip changes the least is your culprit.
to verify injector trouble, swap that injector into next cylinder and repeat 1. and 2. above.
if problem follows injector, it's the injector.

Mods I can not tell you for sure just got the truck but it has a straight pipe. It does have a light white and blue haze at idle and when reving it up. It will go to about 2000 then start missing again till 2400 or so thats when I let off.
