Lost OD

Yup sure did, haven't checked the TPS signal yet.
Wondering if the ground for the alt that runs beside the thermostat housing could have something to do with is being I painted the head while I had it off.

Well got down to the shop this afternoon, checked the TPS 1v on the dot, grounds seem to be good.
But as I was checking the TPS (key on engine off) I noticed a squeeling noise that was comming from what I'd call the voltage reg. or alt itself.
And the squeel was also present in the valvebody, along with one or several solonoids clickin kinda noises.
So what input does the alt give the trans/pcm besides the 5v signal without the truck running, or is this normal for an auto (still learning)
Hope u liked my woman like desciptive noises there too

And if its not too much to ask could somebody tell me how to maually override OD so I can at least drive above 45 till I get this figured out.
I figure there should be another wire I can ground out to shift it into OD that I could just wire in with my TC lockup switch fir the time being.
Thanks Bryan
