My 12v seems to have really lost its spunk. It used to be that you could be in 3 or 4th and mash the throttle and you could feel it. Not so much anymore. Is this the turbo?? Injector pump??? I changed the fuel filter. It used to smoke when I got on it passing a car on the highway. Now it doesn't seem to smoke hardly at all? What do you guys think???

I ask this knowing that there is probably a million things that could lead to this.

A million things would be a stretch but the usual suspects would be the fuel system. That being filter, hoses to/from the engine, leak at the fuel sediment filter, weak lift pump.

Secondly would be the air system, plugged filter, blown intercooler boot, fractured boost signal line to the AFC.

Third could be linkage related to the fuel solenoid binding or worn not pulling up fully.

Some searching here would give some more tips.
