Looking for more power.
i am looking to upgrade to some high flow delivery valves, some "BIG" injectors and a turbo. I was told by Enterprise engine performance to get eather the injectors or delivery valves but not both untill i get a bigger turbo/tranny upgrades.
What do you all recomend and Im working on a 17 year olds budget here.... so im not going to be able to get twins.... Although i can get D.V.s and Injectors with what i make, but ill be saving a couple weeks checks

I'd be forgetting about any performance parts for the engine right now. Build the trans first, then you won't have to worry about it as you bomb it. Along with that, the truck will just feel stronger since more power is making it through a quality converter instead of that stock slush one.
gotta question--- why's your location say too far from ohio. with the weather and economy here right now, i'd wish to get away, but bad economy means i'm savin my pennies

i dont fit in too well here in mass. Things i like to do and my interests are much different from any 17 yearold in this state. I have family in ohio who i miss very much and would love to be able to be out there permanmently or more freekwently.
The tranny is holding perfect for now, i have no shutters or anything... i guess that it might be ebcause it was rebuilt 30k ago, gets fresh fluid ever 6 months and i have not beat it up too bad...

I'd say you've got things in line pretty good. I would reccomend a good shift kit, or valve body/torque converter combo before any more motor mods, just to keep that trans holding up. When it was rebuilt did it get any internal mods, or just a stock O/H?

i think it was just a stock o/h, im not sure the original owner had this done at 120k and then i bought it at 142k from its second owner.... i would think it is safe to say it is a stock tranny though.....
i plan on buying a suncoast converter, and valvebody: EEP told me that for what i do with the truck this will hold me to about 450 horse solid..... along with adjusting the bands and such.
i know what i want for the tranny for now, but im looking to see sugestions on what type of power upgrades you would recomend...

i got ya, sometimes people only think about the motor and not about the things that need to stay together to put the power to the ground... judging by your sig, it looks like injectors would be the next best bet. i got mine from city diesel last summer for 300
