Looking for a factory service manual for a 97 - will other years work?
I'm trying to find a factory service manual for my 97. They're a bit hard to find on E-Bay, they sell quick, do you know if I can use another year such as 96 or 98?
Thanks!

The wrong year will work much of the time but I guarantee it won't work for the electrical. It seems to change every year. '98 is way different than '97, if you have to get the wrong manual get a '96.
Better yet spring the bucks and buy the right one here https://techauthority.gltghosting.co...rn=80104&qty=0
It may seem like a lot but will easily pay for itself the first time you do a repair from it.

I need to stick with a '97 manual then, I definitely want correct electrical diagrams, etc.
I've never had a “factory” service manual and thought that it may be like the Haynes manuals where multiple years are covered in one manual.
I'm surprised that there aren't different revisions of the manuals then, how are error corrections handled if they don't release new versions?
Anyways, I guess I'll have to suck it up and get one from Genos/TechAuthority.
