Its a 96 cummins 5speed 2wd with a winch with about 200,000 on the dash.<br>Its going for 7995. I will be useing the truck to pull equipment and live stock with. It does not show any signs of leaking anywhere. It has a utility bed with a gooseneck ball.<br>The question that i want to know is what is the life on these engins??? And I have heard that the 5th gear is that good in them. How much cost to be fixed and how much are the 6speeders in the H.O.'s

I can't tell you about the tranny except that the fifth gear nut has been known to take a leave of absence on occasion. As far as the engine, you should have atleast 150,000 good miles left. You should also try to find ot if the KDP has been taken care of.<br>Tom

You could have lots of miles left.<br>Sounds like it's just broke in good if it has had reasonable care.<br>The 5th gear prob is an easy fix [ I'm doing a 97 this weekend ]<br>A 5600 6 spd would be better but they are costly.<br><br><br> : Eddie : 8)
