Lockup swith didn't help

The lock up switch works cause it shifts for 3rd to 4th locked. The t/c has been locking and unlocking in od. so today i wired up a lockup switch to see if it would overide a bad tps. Truck did fine untill i got on the interstate and then acted like it was wanting to shift back into 3rd then locking and unlocking again. The trans temp came on thismorning when i went to start it and took about 45seconds to go off but the truck was cold. Could the temp sensor be going bad?? How do you bypass it and with which resistor. Thanks for the help.

your connections are not good on the switch, if you really want the switch, sodder them, the same thing happened to me, it worked for a while, then my lockup got really bad, and i put it on a scanner and the code was for the switch

the lockup switch works and truck shifts fine with a 1k ohm resistor in the trans temp sensor, so I need to get a new temp sensor.
