What type of lockers are you looking for? Do you want selectable ones so the truck is still streetable or do you want an off-road only truck?

The cheapest way to do it is a "lincoln locker". This refers to lincoln welders. You simply pull out the differential carrier and weld together the spider gears. This can weaken the gears. The big problem with this method is that the truck is not streetable at all.

I only know of two options for mechanical lockers that will fit these trucks. The cheapest is the powertrax which is a simple unit but seems to work okay. The other option is a detroit locker which is known as the standard in off-roading. You have to learn to drive with these lockers so that they are streetable. When enterring a turn, you can't use any power so that it can unlock, then you can apply power.

The best option is something like an ARB air locker so that it is selectable. This is what I would choose if I did it all over again.

Dartmough 12v is right. Be careful about automatic lockers on the street especially during rain or snow. If you have one on the rear and you hit power on a turn, it will lock up and you could spin out, not good. Unfortunately there are not many choices of lockers for the Dana 60 or 80. Look at reiderracing.com for a lot of good information about diffs. I ended up buying a Powerlok and installed the clutches in a aggressive arrangement. Streetable, yet still good offroad. FWIW, I have a Traclok, 3.54 gears, for the front Dana 60. If interested, PM me.
