Leaking Vacuum pump?

Leaking Vacuum pump?
I took my rig to a dealer this morning and he told me that my leak was fluid from the vacuum pump. He quoted me 800 or so for a new pump and 3.5 hours of labor. Why do I need a new pump if the seals are bad? Help guys, $1300 seems scarey!!

TJ ???

Re:Leaking Vacuum pump?
I'm leaking oil.

searched and found that There is a seal I can replace, rather than replace the entire pump. I just wonder why the only dealer option is to replace the pump too.

TJ
