Just realized I have a remanufactured pump.

Not sure if it means much, but I was sitting ontop of my engine(don't ask), and saw a little ID plate on the back of the pump that I didn't see before. I guess I have a remanufactered pump, it says Tomco 61-6010 as the brand and part number. Anything different about this one than any other 160pump P7100?

Ya I have one to no one knows what the numbers mean. Like at the local Bosh shop. I am wondering if it is a DC thing.

See if this helps http://www.tomco-inc.com/ Google is your friend! Really can't access much from their web site but I think a phone call might do the trick.

thanks, I saw that link but skipped it for some reason. I guess I thought it was somthing else. I emailed them about it. I wonder if the pump is more restrictive than a normal one since they specialize in emission's stuff.

I wouldn't think so. It should be built to the same CPL specs as original equipment.

It's worth the price of the email to at least ask. Post up your results if you don't mind. It would also be nice to know what they are currently producing for the Cummins. Maybe they could be a parts source for other models as well.
