I went down and purchased all new vacuum lines, and connectors.
With a manual vacuum pump I checked each stock line seperately, if it had any leaks I couldnt find any. So I replaced them all just to be sure.
How can I tell if the timing on the fuel injection pump is off, every thing else seams to be as it should?

Im not sure what to look for. Wouldn't it back fire and stuff like a gas engine for slipped timing?

I think it is my new TCC. It is engaged and wanting to pull the secont I put it in gear. Thanks for all your info and suggestions. My truck is running better from all the stuff I checked and serviced. Now I need to reset it up to pull from the start.

Try a basic 35 for better spool-up with the low-stall convertor - that hybrid is wanting more exhaust energy at higher rpm, which you lost with the 'tight' TC

A#10 plate would help, but you'll also get bunches of down-low smoke B4 the turbo spools up over 5psi

I would think not. Backfiring is caused by fuel getting into the exhaust system and combusting in there. Diesel does not combust... it burns (even then, not as easily as gasoline). Thus the reason that you never hear a diesel back fire.
