Hi all, Looking for a little help. I'm going to install a Transgo kit in my 96 47RE I have read on these forums from time to time little tips and tricks on the installation but they are scattered all over and hard to find. So I am asking if you have done this if you could post anything that may help me. What size drill you used and anything that will help clarify the instructions, a little confusing on first read. My engine and transmission are stock, I'm just looking for better shifts.

the drill bits should come with the kit

They did, but I have read that some people use different sizes for harder or softer shifts.

I strongly recommend you get in contact with the folks at Transgo. You may be surprised to hear what they have to say.
