install 47re myself?
Is it worth it to switch out a 47re myself over what I would spend to have the shop that built the new one do it for as part of the "package"?
The new unit is dyno tested before it leaves their shop regardless.
Thanks
Jimmy

I was quoted $500 labor to pull mine and put it back with a new goerend converter. I am also thinking I can do it myself, just a bunch of rachet tie towns holding it to the frame should work right?

My brother and i did my HTS on jack stands. Pretty strait forward, just a fair amount of wrenching. Took about 8 hours from driving it in to driving it out, and that includes lunch. It could have been done faster, but as usual there were a few snags ( the dipstick tube gave me fits!)
