Injector Pump and fuel plate
Hey I've got a 97' 12v and when i bought it the injector pump was turned up. And it will fly!!! I've had several guys tell me to take out the fuel plate and it will make it even faster. Can i completely remove the fuel plate and what would it's affects be? And if so what will it do to fuel mileage?

I've read that there are 2 schools here , problem & not , and that removed its a lot easier to use a lot of fuel .
Then there is , if its not broke - don't fix it .

the no fuel plate thing is a hit or miss thing, Some people swear that it will kill ur pump, others even on this forum have done it... I have a plate in my truck, and wouldnt have it any other way...
Why do the big dogs run fuel plates? cheap insurance.. If you want max fuel, cut your plate down to a 0 profile, and adjust ur governer arm... That be what id do...
