I'm in the middle of a KDP repair and I noticed the two power steering lines at the steering box are rusted really bad. It looks real easy to get at right now whith the fan, shroud, radiator hose out of the way. Can i buy these power steering lines aftermarket or are they dealer items only?

My truck has 136K, how long do the waterpumps last? looks like this would be the time to do that also. comming up with part #3802357 what do they sell for?

I might have trouble putting the speed sensor back, some little clip fell to the ground as i was sliding it off the two pins.

I'll update you guys later on the KDP operation.

Return Line: Sold as bulk hose, low pressure powersteering return hose

You should be able to call up any good parts store tell them what you want and they can find it. The return line replacement unless from the dealer will probably just be sold by the foot. If your old return line is crimped just chop the the hardline right behind the hose/hardline junction leaving a good clamp surface for the replacement return line

 

Up here I stock that pump new & remanned. My pump new is around $85.00 remanned is around $70.00, but then again everything comes in here by barge or plain and with the gas prices everything here is $$$$$$$$$$ usually double the "down below" price

Napa or any AP should have the hoses in stock for the steering, the H2O pump should be good to go for some time, even if it goes out its easy to do with it together. If it aint broke dont fix it.
