Idle fueling problem

Here's the problem. I'll try to explain this as well as I can. I have a 99 2500 4x4 24 valve with Edge Juice with Attitude, FASS 95gph @14psi, Bosch 300hp injectors and a South Bend single disc clutch. I can't take off in 2nd gear without the rear axle hopping. I can hold the brake pedal to the floor as hard as possible, let the clutch out in 2nd gear and it slides the front tires and spins the rears but doesn't even come close to stalling. I can park on a hill and start in 3rd no problem. Basically you can't stall it. You're probably thinking why would I want to fix this? I also can't back up a trailer in 2wd without the rear axle bouncing so badly it sounds like its coming out of the truck. I'm also getting sick of starting in 1st all the time and shifting 3 gears to get through the intersection. First I was instructed to change the leaf spring bushings but I think its a governor fuelling issue myself. I also understand there's a solenoid in the injection pump that can cause these symptoms. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

So do you want to fix your traction, reduce your power, make your brakes able stall the truck or what?

I can't help much on tech diesel stuff yet but traction, I might be able to help.

Am I correct in understanding that you have uncontrollable power right off idle?

I'd like the truck to run like it used to. My brother has the same truck with the same mods and it drives like a stock truck. I mean really I should be able to back up a trailer right? Will traction/ladder bars be effective in reverse? I don't really think I should be at the ladder bar stage yet, I would estimate the power output at 400hp/800ft-lbs. That may even be a bit optimistic.

Which SB clutch do you have? My Con-OFE chatters a bit like you describe, but not nearly as bad. In 1st gear I have no chatter, but 2nd it is noticeable. Never tried starting out in 3rd.. I've heard that the Con-FE's are terrible and guys have problems backing up trailers and starting out smoothly

I also have the con-ofe. Ya sorry guys I posted this in the wrong forum. I think traction/ladder bars will fix it. As for the trailer reversing, I think a vaccuum shut off solenoid for the 4wd lock up will fix that. Then you can get 2wd low range.
