i upgraded the rear brakes and put in new tranny fluid
It is definatly worth it to put on those chebby brake cylanders! Everyone who said it makes the truck feel like it has back brakes is absolutly correct. I did get the ones that had the rubber seals on the outside which are slightly different then the dodge ones. They went on just fine and no problems so far. I also had all new synthetic transmission fluid put in. It definatly made a difference in how the truck shifts. At least i hope it does. It could be pyschological i guess. It was worth the $100 to pay someone else to do it. Next im gonna put all new DOT 3 brake fluid and new anti-freeze.
So thanks to all the people who chimed in and convinced me to do the work. It was very much worth it!

Something else that helps is the Pepboys PG brakeshoes. That's the only place I could find something other than organic lining. Even NAPA only had one grade - organic. Craig
