I got 26.5 Mpg

I got 26.5 MPG in my 3/4 ton last week!!!! I was driving to south Texas on a misson trip. But you say wait; there has to be a catch. Well there was. I was following a firetruck going 55 mph on interstate 77. (flat ground) . Hey, but on the way back going 80 mph I got 18MPG!!! Thats an all time best. Those overflow valves really make a difference!! I LOVE MY TRUCK!!

Let me stress again I was going 55 MPH behind a firetruck, so I was "Drafting". But at highway speeds, 75-80 MPH, I'm still getting 18 MPG. Not bad for a 7 year old, 7100 pound, 4 wheel drive land barge with 145000 miles. Check your overflow valve 12 valvers, it's worth it!!

It weighed 7040 pounds on the CAT scales at Cowboys truck stop. I was in it (250 pounds) and it had a full tank of fuel. Mine is also an auto tranny,(if that makes a difference) and there is no telling how much stuff is in my tool box. So I guess It would come out pretty close.
