Hydroboost question
I am going to replace my vacuum brakes with a 97 hydroboost unit soon, and am curious if I use regular hydraulic fluid instead of P/S fluid, will it have problems?
I am going to be running the steering, brakes, winch, etc off an industrial type gear pump instead of the factory power steering pump.
Pressure will be regulated, but I don't know what to regulate it to? also flow will be limited to 5gpm for the steering and brakes.

lance here is a good web sight www.pirate4x4.com also give these guys a call www.vancopbs.com
the first web sight had a great articles on brakes. Also if you are going to run that many gpm in the hydroboost that may be a problem. Van has some good info on how to make that work. hope that helps. I to am going to install a 97 system on my 95 when I get time. I bought a set of gauges to check the pressure at the wheels to set a base line on the brake pressure. Not a lot of money. Good luck Jim
