Some of you may know me from Pavementsucks or 1stGen, but I'm new here to DTR. I've recently completed a SAS and Cummins Conversion on my '94 Chevy K1500. The build originally started with a 1st Gen, but shortly after the build, something went wrong and I cracked the #1 piston in 3 places. I contemplated rebuilding the engine when I realized how much more can be had with a 2nd Gen than the 1st Gen with so much less effort, which brings me here. I replaced the '93 Cummins engine with one from a '96, and have just about got the new heart transplant completed...again! No mods to the engine yet, as I've gotta get her runnin' first.
