How long does it take for the input seal on the transfer case to seat?

I had a shop do my input seal, and I drove it in 4WD last week for 13 miles when it was 60* out, no seepage, then I drove it all day Saturday in 4WD and went out to check it again, and it had a faint amount of seepage coming out of it.

I sprayed it down real good with brake parts cleaner...

Its been around 2.5 weeks since I had it done.

Its not dripping or anything, do you think the seal is bad?

if the previous seal wore a groove in there it may take a couple hundred miles to seat right.
You might be able to get a speedi-sleeve for it.. not sure.

hi
well the seal should seal right away !
but! did you also have them install a seal in the transmition output ???

i took mine out for a leak where they meet and found it was the seal in the trans that was actualy the leaky one !!
replaced the one in trany and did a rebuild on the transfur case while it was out and am now leek free for 2000 miles !

also i dont think you are supposed to run these boys in 4 wheel on dry pavement !!

It has sealed. A very small amount of weepage is reasonable to expect.
