As THINGFISH said, come to the Boise valley in February. Oilburner (from NWBombers.com - THINGFISH's favorite site - sorry Muddy, had to do that) and I can do it. We have the Snap-on kit.

-Jay

Re:How do I advance timing to 16*?
I live in Meridian, ID (30 miles from Marsing) and would love to get involved. Would love to ahve the timing done to 15.5 and to get the KDP fix. I Just got my 3k gov springs on Monday and am waiting to put them in. My truck comes back from the tranny place on Friday with new pieces parts. Let me know how or what I can do to get involved. Also, I am a capable person and do all my own work so getting in and getting dirty is not a problem.

Don (glad for the chance to work with knowledgable people)

turbospl311,
As Muddy said, if you can hold off until March 1, we'll plan on doing your KDP and timing then. Delaying doing the KDP is a little risky, but without the jig, you'd have to pull the case cover (done that) and tab it. If you decide to do that, you should plan to get a gasket and seal kit, about $54 at Cummins.
If you really need the timing (or KDP) done before, Lon (rotorhead) and I can prolly do that. We are only a mile apart on the west side of spud-town, so we're close.
