Help!! New tranny leaking

I just put in a rebuilt tranny. I was putting in the tranny fluid and it started leaking. I looked under the truck to find out where it was leaking and it looked like it was from inside the bell housing. Is there a vent I don't know about? Do I have a bad seal? I made sure that I didn't move or remove the tc as I was putting the tranny in. I am at a lose.

Help

Was the truck running or off? If running I would suspect the input seal was damaged, could always be the pump seal between I guess?

I want to say you don't put all the fluid in with the truck off, maybe it was overfilling somehow....need the pump turning to get flow to the converter.

Mine takes 3.5 gallons and it will overflow if I try to put all of it in without starting the engine. I put in about 2.8 gallons and start it and then pour the rest in.
