Should we rebuild Getrag or do a NV4500 conversion ?
Either way we need some parts and help.

getrag not bad if you keep it 1 qt over full and takes some abuse too, but if you have the cash I would do the nv4500

some times ebay has nv4500 kits and you could also call a junk yard most can round up every thing you need 1 more thing google nv4500 convertion kits might find something too .and someone here I am sure will chime in on a source.

 

Have you decided what to do yet ? I'm in the same predicament.
