head gasket time! ? about bolts/studs
alright, my head gasket is leaking a little bit of coolant and oil around the exhaust side of # 5 cylinder. i think i will be replacing it with a standard head gasket from napa. my question is, should i reuse the old head bolts (provided that they are not stretched to far already), buy new bolts, or pony up some extra dough and get studs? if i was to buy new head bolts, is there a place on-line i could find them? i can't find them anywhere. as for studs- who has the best price? i have seen them for $425 somewhere. oh, i currently have a #6 plate, boost to around 30 lbs. max. i guess i will go ahead and fix the KDP with a TST kit while i've got the tools out.

yeah get that kdp out of the way while your there. I would find a cummins dealer around there to get the gasket, and they have a guide that will show you if the bolts have stretched out of factory limits if they haven't reuse them. I wouldn't spring for studs unless you have alot of power planed for the truck in the future.
