governor arm adjustment

governor arm adjustment

i have a 0 plate slid forward and i noticed the governor arm was going under the plate so i adjusted it but i had to loosen it so much that its almost all the way out would it be fine with the screw all the way out. i called the local pump shop and the guy just freaked out when i told him what i was doing and he didnt help at all. so any advise would be great thanks

I've heard of numerous guys removing the adjusting screw completely. On a 0 plate, it wouldn't make a difference in how much fuel it was gonna deliver anyway.
