governed speed
I have a ram 2500 4x4 that has 130k on it and can only do 99mph. Some one told me it was governed down and I could change it. How do I do this? Is it in the computer or is it mechanical or what?<br>Javk505

it is mechanical on your truck, get a 4k rpm kit with some new valve springs from piers. what gears are you running? 3.5 or 4.1, and how fast do you want it to run?mike

3.55 gears<br>3K GSK kit<br>33&quot; tires<br><br>max at about 95MPH (that's when I let out, ran outta road)
