going to look at a 97 auto 2500

is there anything special to look for on these trucks. especially since its automatic i cant find any stick trucks anywhere. it has 110k on it by the way

the auto is ok but if your going to bomb its going to harder. look out for the killer dowl pin, hit the search icon at the top og the page and type in kdp or killer dowl pin.

If you are in Cary, IL, you're not too far from Wheaton, my location. Check this truck in Byron, IL, although I know nothing about it, I ran an advanced search on autotrader.com for a manual trans with a diesel engine '94-'98 ram 2500. Note also there is an engine problem--they would need to drop that price quite a bit for me to consider it....

However, I looked at thier website, they have 11 Dodge/Cummins trucks in inventory currently. Might be worth a look....

Bought my 2500 with 110k on it. The only thing I wish i would have stayed away from was leather seating. The truck may last 300k but the seats didn't make IT to 125k. I was going to get a manual tranny, but I live in the city stop and go traffic so I didn't want to shift all the time. I'm lazy.
