getting by until the turbo arrives
Hey guys, had to send my turbo in to be rebuilt but needed to keep driving in the meantime. I got the exhaust and air intake rerouted.
My question is what to do with the oil line that fed the turbo. It looks as though there is braided wire tube input that connects to the top of turbo and a bigger hard line that connects to the bottom. Should I cap these off or simply feed one into the other? Thanks for the help guys.

Ok cool. I talked to some guys and tried connecting the lines together. Truck ran just fine. A little under powered. However oil pressure started to drop to about 22psi at idle. I'm guessing that's just because it's used to having a bunch of resistance from the turbo?? I'll have to try capping it later and see if that ups the pressure. Otherwise I have gauges and a BHAF. Haven't seen it get too hot yet thankfully. Appreciate the help guys.
