I want a 2 pod a pillar for my 97' and then a boost and pyro gauge. I just had a guy do some work on my pump and fuel plate and it will "roll the coal". I want to be able to watch it. I loike autometer. What do you guys reccomend. i would like them to match my in dash gauges as closely as possible. thanks

I am biased towards the Isspro EV's. Got mine with the red pointers and it matches the factory gauges pretty closely. I had AM's prior on another truck and they weren't as good at night. The newer series out by AM have addressed that problem.

Well i want good quality and durability. So if autometers arent that great then let me know. I need some input i really need to get some gauges in this thing soon. All that matters is that they match pretty well with the in-dash cluster decently. Like i said i just want good quality. I dont want these things failing on me. So let me know what yall think.

I've had AutoMeters in most of my trucks and have not had any problems with them. I forget the type that I have but they are white faced with black lettering. They are fine at night and I would recommend them.

I think for the most part it is all personal preference. Search around and find the gauges you like (ones that match your cluster) and you should be fine with whichever you choose. Summit Racing has a decent selection with good pictures if you need some ideas.

I want a 0-60 psi boost gauge and a 0-1600 degree pyro. I like the AM cobalts but they light up blue. I cant find any that are black with white letters and red pointer that lights green like the stock gauges. Anyone know if thats even possible to find in the gauges that i want?

I think you want the Autometer "Z" Series gauges. I 'think' that is what I have. They are black faced, white numbers, ornage/red pointer, regular colored light.

They match my '95 dash perfectly.

I went with a 3 gauge pod from glowshift for $200 everything included except some wire seems to work well.

There are some here: GAUGES

I believe most of them just have the little plastic piece over the light bulb for the back lighting. They should include the green and red ones but you can get other ones as well. I believe the green matches the stock cluster fairly well.

I live in shiro texas. I had one of my buddies truck drivers do it. He used to live in waller and he knows what hes doing. He used to do them all the time. He lives right down the road from me. I went over after school one day and it took him about an hour to do it.

gauges

I got mine as a package deal from City Diesel. They seem to work good and came with everything I needed for about $200.

Check out the Isspro EV series and the Di Pricol Optix series. They are the closest match to factory that I could find. Both are back lit with needles that glow like the factory gauges

The DiPricol have nice green LED lighting and cost a lil more

The Isspro have regular bulbs that will need the lil green covers, but they're a lil cheaper.

you can see nice pics at http://www.genosgarage.com/
but these guys sell them a little cheaper last time I checked http://www.vulcanperformance.com/servlet/StoreFront
