Fuel Tank Module/Sending unit

Fuel Tank Module/Sending unit
I have an air leak and have narrowed it down to the fuel tank module/sending unit. The Two connections coming out of mine are severly rusted and I have a good idea that is causing problems, is there anyway to repair those lines, such as replacement. My only option for replacement now is the dealership who wants $330 dollars for one. No parts stores around can get it for the diesel and i see them online on ebay all the time for 100 dollars however they are for a 98 and newer truck but it says the wiring connector needs to be modified. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Do you have any idea how much it you paid for that part from them? and also was your sending unit messing up or did you have an air leak like in my case?
Thanks,
Dave

Mine was sucking air at the metal elbows. I did away with those quick disconnect jobs and just ran rubber. I paid around or a little less than 300$ but it was a brand new CARTER unit and it is working great!
