Fuel plate ID

Fuel plate ID
I am installing gauges before I start all of this but have looked at the housing on my pump and see the screw which should have been sealed is a slotted screw so am thinking something has been done already. Can I remove the cover and look at the fuel plate and tell if it has been changed without removal? Are the markings on non stock plates on the top when the cover is removed so you can tell if it has been changed? Any help would be appreciated.

Denny

Re:Fuel plate ID
just take the fuel plate out- only two bolts. look at the pattern. i believe that all aftermarket plates do not have "stud protrusions" on the top of their plates. maybe the stock one is forward ??? just open her up and have a look.

Tom
